Position Summary
Full time Position. In our Meat department Prep room and service counter. Cutting for both our self-service case and service counter along with serving customers at our service case as a butcher.
Position Accountabilities
1. You will be breaking down, cutting, and trimming meats and poultry.
2. Assist fellow members of the team in accomplishing the goals of the department which are” excellent Customer Service” and a “profitable environment”.
3. You will be assigned to work in our Meat Cold room and Meat service counter.
4. Use Safe handling and safe sanitary procedures
5. Correct and responsible usage of all equipment. (i.e. knives, choppers, band saw.)
6. Assist in cleaning and maintenance of the Department.
7. Correct and responsible usage of all equipment
8. Help clean the work area at days end.
9. Assist in unloading deliveries
10. Maintain correct department signage
11. Answer Telephone calls and customer questions in a courteous and efficient manner.
12. Ability to have flexible work schedules
13. Ability to bend and lift, push and pull carts.

Preferred Experience
Two years as a meat cutter in a supermarket or meat store.

Position Summary
Coordinates, Plans and helps control the functions of Fairway’s Cashier and home delivery departments.

Position Accountabilities
1. Coordinate the receiving, completion and delivery of Home Delivery Orders.
2. Supervising the staff in performing multi tasks to effectively complete company goals.
3. Training of new and existing staff members
4. Monitoring the customer service etiquette of the front end staff
5. Maintaining an effective customer service experience.


Preferred Experience
Customer service experience will be a great advantage

Compensation
Full time You will receive for your skills a full time steady daytime position. You will work approximately
50 hours. Your schedule will include weekends. Benefits, Holiday pay and vacation time
are available after 6 months of employment. A detailed handbook is available explaining all the
company policies
For your review. A maximum probationary period of six months will apply. During your trial
period you will earn 9.00 hour. After being accepted as a cashier manger you will earn 10.00 an
hour during your probationary period. Your salary upon completion of probation will be

Position Summary
The position will involve scanning, identifying and weighing of customer purchases. This position also involves shopping the store, making up customer phone orders.

Position Accountabilities
1. Scan, identify, weigh and bag customer purchases together with tendering cash, check or credit card for the purchases using NCR cash registers
2. Select customer orders by shopping the store per customers written telephone order.
3. Able to identify products by sight; knows all PLU codes, particularly for produce items
4. Provides excellent customer service; greets each customer with friendly eye contact and a thank you.
5. Accepting Customer complaints and suggestions and directing them to the manager.
6. Responsibility of Cash Draw accounting.
7. Correct and responsible usage of all equipment
8. Performs other duties throughout the store as assigned by the Manager
9. Help clean the Counters at days end.


Preferred Experience
None Needed but Person must be willing to learn. Your own personal supermarket shopping knowledge is a great advantage

Seafood Merchandiser

Position Summary
Full time Position in our Fresh Seafood Department, setting up the display case and serving customers
Position Accountabilities
1. You will be greeting customers asking them what they would like and then fulfilling their orders.
2. Assist fellow members of the team in accomplishing the goals of the department which are” excellent Customer Service” and a “profitable environment”.
3. If you assigned to open you will be responsible for artistically arranging the display of fresh.
4. If you assigned to close you will be responsible for icing and properly storing away the fish not sold that day, as well as cleaning the seafood department area.
5. Use Safe handling and safe sanitary procedures
6. You will be responsible for correct rotation, defrosting and inventory control of product stored in the seafood cooler
7. Correct and responsible usage of all equipment
8. Cleaning and maintenance of the Department. 


Preferred Experience
Previous experience in seafood preferred.
