Position Summary
The position will involve scanning, identifying and weighing of customer purchases. This position also involves shopping the store, making up customer phone orders.
Position Accountabilities
1. Scan, identify, weigh and bag customer purchases together with tendering cash, check or credit card for the purchases using NCR cash registers
2. Select customer orders by shopping the store per customers written telephone order.
3. Able to identify products by sight; knows all PLU codes, particularly for produce items
4. Provides excellent customer service; greets each customer with friendly eye contact and a thank you.
5. Accepting Customer complaints and suggestions and directing them to the manager.
6. Responsibility of Cash Draw accounting.
7. Correct and responsible usage of all equipment
8. Performs other duties throughout the store as assigned by the Manager
9. Help clean the Counters at days end.
Preferred Experience
None Needed but Person must be willing to learn. Your own personal supermarket shopping knowledge is a great advantage
Skills and abilities required
1. Energetic, Patient and willing to learn
2. Good People communication skills Ability to understand customers' needs
3. Fluent English
4. Stand and walk for extended periods of time possibly up to 4 hours before a break
5. Able to work a variety of shifts including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
6. Ability to follow instructions and procedures
Compensation
You will receive for your skills a full time steady daytime position. You will work 40 hours possibly with
Some overtime. Starting Rate will be 9.00 an hour. After 3 month successful probationary period your rate
Will be 9.50 hr. Growth is comensurate with performance
Available to you after 6 months of employment will be sick day benefits, Holiday pay and Vacation time

Individual can expect a starting rate of 8.75 an hour. After 3 months of successful employment you can expect 9.00 hr. Growth is comensurate with performance Once your hours are established you will be depended on to maintain those hours

Position: Prepared Foods Cook
Position Summary
As a Prepared Foods Cook you will perform all functions relating to the maintenance and proper food preparation of the hot case, cold case, and catering departments. You will also be involved in presenting prepared foods in an appealing and artistic way keeping consistent with the policies of the kitchen. You will be under the supervision of the chef in charge of the kitchen. You will be expected to show respect to your position, our customers, co-staff and management.
Position Accountabilities
1. Follow Chef instructions on preparation of foods and Kitchen procedures
2. Assist fellow members of the kitchen staff in preparation
3. Assist in helping chef maintaining the highest quality
4. Use Safe handling and safe sanitary procedures Ensure all prepared items are labeled, dated, initialed, covered, and rotated

6. Help clean the kitchen at days end.
7. Ensure that walk-ins and freezers are kept clean and organized
8. Communicate problems and suggestions to staff members and management
Preferred Experience
At least one years experience in a culinary environment.
Skills Required

Full time Position in our Fresh Seafood Department, setting up the display case and serving customers
